How You Will Help
Falcons City SC is seeking Youth Volleyball Coaches to support our volleyball programs across the DMV area. Coaches may assist with after-school programs, training sessions, camps, clinics, tournaments, and community events. We welcome coaches with different levels of experience, including experienced head coaches, assistant coaches, former players, college students, and individuals looking to grow in youth coaching.
Falcons City SC is a nonprofit sports club dedicated to youth development, sports access, fitness, education, leadership, and community impact. We provide programs through soccer, basketball, volleyball, chess, fitness, after-school activities, camps, clinics, tournaments, and community events.
Expectations
Time commitment may vary depending on program needs, coach availability, and seasonal schedules. Evening and weekend availability is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for coaches who are reliable, positive, professional, and passionate about working with youth. Ideal candidates may have experience in volleyball coaching, playing experience, youth sports, physical education, camps or after-school programs, player development, team training, or community sports programs.

What We Are Looking For
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or assist youth volleyball sessions
- Teach age-appropriate volleyball fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, and confidence
- Support players with different skill levels and backgrounds
- Teach skills such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, court movement, and communication
- Help create a safe, positive, and structured training environment
- Assist with setup, cleanup, attendance, and equipment organization
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, staff, and program managers
- Support Falcons City SC programs, camps, clinics, and community events
Ideal Qualifications
- Volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred
- Experience working with children or youth preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable attendance and professional attitude
- Coaching certification is a plus, but not required for all roles
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Background check may be required for youth-facing roles
